2019 Drug and Alcohol Awareness Breakfast

Our guest speaker this year will be Eric Gray, leader of Celebrate Recovery in the Forsyth-Dawson County area.
2019 Singing SchoolThe Music Dept of HGBC will host a Singing School for ages Preschool thru Adults in January. It is FREE and open to the community.
Classes will be each Weds night from 7:15 until 8:30 p.m. and each Sunday afternoon from 4:30 until 6 p.m. for the month of January. Dates are Weds: Jan 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th. Sundays are 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th. Weds, Jan 30th, will be the Finale/Singing.
Classes will be divided (subject to change depending on the numbers) as follows:
Preschool to Kindergarten, 1st to 3rd grades, 4th to 6th grades, 7th grade to Adults-Beginners and 7th grade to Adults-Advanced.
New addition this year: We plan to have a group voice lesson for 30 mins on 2 of the Sundays. The lessons will be taught by Julie Singleton. This will be an introduction to proper vocal technique. We will touch on things like breath support, annunciation, exercising a better tone, etc.
